Privacy policy

What we do with information about you — described plainly, and limited to what actually happens.

What this policy covers

This policy explains what TrustLayerr does with information about you when you visit this website or get in touch about our software and services. It is written to describe what actually happens, not to cover every theoretical possibility.

It does not cover the separate demo sites, or software installed on your own premises or server — in those cases the data inside the system is yours, and we only see it when you ask us to help with something.

What this website collects

No cookies, no analytics, no tracking. As of the date at the bottom of this page, this website sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics, and has no forms. Simply reading these pages does not create a record of you that we can see.

Server logs. Like almost every website, the server that hosts these pages records standard technical information for each request — IP address, time, page requested, browser type. This is ordinary operational logging used for security and fault diagnosis, and it is not used to build a profile of you.

No third-party requests. Typefaces are served from this site's own server rather than Google's, so simply reading these pages sends nothing to any third party at all — not even your IP address.

When you contact us

If you message us on WhatsApp, call, or send an email, we keep what you send — your name, contact details, and whatever you tell us about your business — so that we can answer you and, if you become a customer, support you afterwards.

WhatsApp messages are carried by WhatsApp and subject to their terms and encryption. Email is carried by our mail provider. We do not sell, rent or share your contact details with anyone for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you asked a question.

Data inside your software

If you buy TrustLayerr software, the business data you put into it — your orders, customers, stock and bills — belongs to you.

In the offline mode that data sits on your own machine and we have no access to it at all. In the online mode it sits on a server we host or manage for you; we access it only when you ask us to, for support, migration or fixing a fault.

You can request an export of your data at any time. Reports export to Excel from inside the software as a normal feature, so you are never locked out of your own records.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us using the contact details below and we will action it, unless we are required to keep something for tax or legal reasons.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first — we would rather fix it than have you escalate it.
