Catering management

Bookings, stock and bills that reconcile.

Built for catering and event food businesses, where one order is a hundred decisions and the margin lives or dies on what you actually used versus what you bought.

What it handles

Order booking with full event detail
Customer profiles and repeat-order history
Stock management with monthly reports
Material planning against booked orders
GST billing toggle
80mm thermal printing
Monthly and yearly reports
Excel export for your accountant

Who it is for

Catering companies and event food businesses running multiple bookings a week, especially where the same customers come back and last year's order is the fastest way to quote this year's. If your quoting currently starts by opening an old Excel file, this is the replacement.

Online or offline

Every TrustLayerr product ships two ways. Online is server-hosted, so the same data opens on several devices at once and survives a device failing — that mode carries a yearly server and maintenance cost. Offline runs on a single machine with data stored locally, so it keeps working when the connection drops. Which one suits you depends on how many people need the screen at the same time, not on how big the business is.

Questions we get asked

The things owners ask before they buy this one.

Can I quote a new event from an old one?

Yes — that is the main reason caterers move off Excel. Customer history is stored against the client, so last year's order becomes this year's starting point instead of something you rebuild from memory.

Does it tell me what material to buy for a booking?

It tracks stock against booked orders so you can see requirement versus what is on hand. It will not place the order for you, but it stops the guesswork that causes an over-buy.

Can my accountant get the data out?

Yes. Reports export to Excel as a normal feature, monthly and yearly. You are never locked out of your own records, and you do not need us to run an export for you.

Do bills include GST?

GST is a toggle, so you can bill with or without it and change the setting per business. Bills print to standard 80mm thermal printers.

We do events across the city. Does it need internet at the venue?

Not in the offline mode — it runs on one machine with the data stored locally. If you want the office and the site to see the same bookings at once, that is the online mode.

The rest of the range

Different business, different system. They share the same billing, reporting and printing, so moving between them is not a relearn.
